Chutzot Hayotzer
Jerusalem International Arts & Crafts Festival
Now in its fifth decade, Chutzot Hayotzer (חוצות היוצר — "Artists' Streets") transforms Sultan's Pool below the Old City walls into a summer bazaar of Israeli and international artisans, live nightly concerts, food, and family activities.
When
2026: August 10 – 22, 2026 (12 nights). Doors open around 6:00 PM; concerts start 9:00 PM. Runs Sunday through Thursday and Motzei Shabbat.
Artisans & Pavilions
- • Israeli Artists Pavilion — 150+ juried ceramicists, jewelers, glassblowers, woodworkers and textile artists
- • International Pavilion — Guest artisans from 25+ countries: Peruvian textiles, Indian silver, African carvings, Balkan ceramics
- • Judaica Section — Mezuzot, kiddush cups, ketubot and hand-lettered scrolls
- • Live-Making Demos — Watch potters, weavers and metalsmiths at work
Nightly Concerts
The Sultan's Pool amphitheater hosts a headline concert every night — Israel's top artists (Idan Raichel, Shlomo Artzi, Ninet, Netta Barzilai and more) plus tribute shows. Concert tickets are separate from festival entry.
Getting There
Sultan's Pool sits between Yemin Moshe and the Old City's Jaffa Gate. Light rail to City Hall + 10-minute walk, or shuttle buses from First Station. Expect crowds after 8 PM.
